On successful completion of this module a student will be able to:

·       understand daily conversations amongst other speakers of Japanese in person and on video;

·       communicate in an unfamiliar situation where negotiation is needed;

·       present facts and opinions;

·       read short articles, simple statistical data, and so on to collect necessary information for the studies and work;

·       write short essays in a coherent manner;

·       appreciate diversity and mutual understanding.
