Intended learning outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this module the student will be able to:
1. Evaluate issues and debates related to the study of architecture in general and Islamic architecture in specific.
2. Identify and compare different approaches to the study of Islamic architecture.
3. Assess critically the materials and themes explored in the course.
4. Understand a variety of architectural boundary types in the Islamic world and their perception and transgression.
