Intended learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1- Demonstrate an understanding of the evolution of the copyright system
of the UK and that of the EU;
2- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the general principles
governing subsistence and scope of protection;
3- Identify and evaluate the impact of EU law on the copyright
system of the UK; AND
4- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the impact of new technologies (AI, digital platforms, hyperlinking) on UK copyright law.
