Intended learning outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this Module the student will be able to:
1 Critically analyse the complex politics that led to the partition of British India
2 Assess various historiographical approaches to the study of partition.
3 Design and conduct primary source research to capture the context of politics and power in British India.
4 Debate and develop evidenced arguments regarding the nature of political developments leading to Partition.
