Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

- Demonstrate an understanding of the evolution of the copyright systems of the UK, EU and U.S.;

- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the general principles governing subsistence and scope of protection;

- Identify and evaluate the impact of EU law on the copyright system of the UK; AND

- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the impact of new technologies on the copyright laws of the UK, EU and U.S.
