Intended learning outcomes: On successful completion of this Module the learner will be able to:
Understand and construct slightly complex structured sentences on familiar topics and specific subject matters common in everyday life (such as personal preferences or experiences).
Comprehend and produce coherent written narratives and descriptive passages in Korean on familiar topics, using slightly complex sentence structures and relevant vocabulary.
Perform communicative language functions and tasks in everyday situations within a given context using integrated language skills (such as understanding or providing simple information, describing explicit facts).
Apply acquired knowledge and understanding of Korean culture in the context of Korean language use that facilitates integration into a target language country, communities or societies (such as the use of polite language).
