Intended learning outcomes: On successful completion of this Module the learner will be able to:
1. Produce simple sentences according to the rules of Korean pronunciation and orthography.
2. Understand and construct simple, structured sentences on familiar topics related to their everyday life (such as oneself, family, and university life)
3. Perform simple communicative language functions and tasks essential for familiar situations concerning their own lives within a given context using integrated language skills (such as producing questions and responses, exchanging simple information)
4. Apply acquired knowledge and understanding of Korean culture within the context of Korean language use (such as the use of polite forms and honorifics).
