On successful completion of this Module the learner will be able to:
- LO1 - Evaluate the political, social, and religious contexts for the production and use of Turco-Islamic art and architecture in medieval Anatolia
- LO2 - Analyse key themes in the dynastic art of Turco-Islamic courts in medieval and early-modern Anatolia
- LO3 - Examine the art, architecture, painting, ceramics, and other artistic production using appropriate vocabulary.
- LO4 - Critically evaluate ethno-nationalistic and essentialist art historical approaches to the art of the period
