Intended learning outcomes: On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
LO1. Perform a variety of student-engagement activities beyond the immediate
scope and baseline expectations of their academic studies
LO2. Apply the tools of
anthropology when describing and evaluating their own student journey
LO3. Develop their
budding knowledge of the discipline in a more focused and hands-on way
LO4. Engage more confidently and competently with their UG
studies by having gained a more intimate grasp of HE structures and
processes
LO5. Use a range of role-playing and problem-solving skills
with explicit relevance to their lived educational experience
LO6. Gain critical insights into their own ways of
thinking, feeling, and acting
LO7. Gain new understandings of themselves, through
group-based exercises and comparative reflection
LO8. Improve their connection to the
learning communities of SOAS and SOAS anthropology, thereby boosting their sense
of belonging
