If I am with another student when you login, you will be placed in a waiting room and I will bring you in as soon as possible. All conversations in office hours will be kept strictly confidential.
Where possible, please avoid sending emails asking questions about deadlines, reading requirements, and other administrative issues to do with the course. These are all covered in the course handbook (see Module Overview section below) and on this page so you should check t/here first. If you still are unsure, check in with your fellow classmates, or attend office hours. If your query is likely to take longer than 5-10 minutes during office hours, email me for a separate appointment. Office hours may be used for questions about course content, coursework and other advice.
Upon successful completion of this Module the student will be able to:
- Identify racist ideologies and practices that played roles in establishing the discipline of academic philosophy.
- Articulate key concepts from a range of anti-racist, decolonial, and critical philosophy of race traditions studied in this module.
- Apply key concepts from a range of anti-racist, decolonial, and critical philosophy of race traditions when engaging with contemporary philosophy curricula.
