Intended learning outcomes:

1.     Critically evaluate the theoretical/empirical basis of varied feminist critiques of political economy

2.     Clearly assess the contributions of feminist and race theories to the study of globalisation

3.     Develop analytical and critical skills, through ideas discussed in seminars.    

4.     Develop an ability to review distinct feminist authors' viewpoints, identify their differences.

5.     Develop an ability to synthesise amp; critically assess complex theories and arguments.

6.     Develop knowledge of feminist methods for the study of the social sciences  

7.     Develop knowledge of key policy debates in feminist political economy          

8.    Develop strong presentation and writing skills, through written coursework.
